Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decrease the dissolved oxygen of the water in a heat storage tank housing heat source water for air conditioning and to prevent the corrosion of pipings, etc., by introducing an inert gas into the hermetic space on the water surface in the heat storage tank and further bringing this inert gas and part of the water in the tank into gas-liquid contact. CONSTITUTION:The heat storage tank 1 housing the heat source water for air conditioning is segmented to plural chambers by partition walls 2 bored with communicating holes 3 and vent holes 6. The space 5 on the water surface is substantially closed by a top surface slab 4 disposed in the upper part thereof. The heat source water in the heat storage tank 1 described above is sucked up by a pump 16 and is introduced into a packed column 7. The heat source water is diffused over the packed bed 11 via a water sprinkling device 10 and the gaseous N2 from an N2 generator 13 is introduced as an inert gas from below via an air diffusion pipe 12 to cause the gas-liquid contact. The oxygen concn. of the heat storage water is decreased and the heat storage water is returned from a drain port 9 to the heat storage tank 1. On the other hand, the gaseous N2 is supplied from a discharge port 8 through a duct 17 into the space 5 above the water surface to lower the oxygen concn. in this space and is then discharged from a discharge pipe 18.
