PURPOSE: To make it possible to engage and hold a bracket with a simple operation by forming this bracket into divided structures at the time of engaging sleeves for fixing with the bracket, thereby fixing the ends of operating wires for bending operation of the angle part of an endoscope.

CONSTITUTION: The ends of protective members 31 disposed at the plural operating wires 30 for bending operation of the angle part of the insertion part 3 are provided with the sleeves 32, for fixing. These sleeves 32 for fixing are engaged and held with and, in the supporting parts 34 of the bracket 33, fixed to a supporting member 40 disposed with a bending operation mechanism 15. The bracket 33 is divided to the divided plural divided parts 33a, 33b, 33c at the parting plane passing the two supporting parts 34 and the respective divided parts 33a, 33b, 33c are integrally fastened in the state of engaging and holding the sleeves 32 for fixing with and in the respective supporting parts 34.
