PURPOSE: To improve printing accuracy by a method wherein paste is treated as a fluid so as to control its movement.
CONSTITUTION: In the screen printing machine concerned, in which the paste 4 having the desired pattern is printed through apertures provided in a screen mask 2 onto a board 3 by moving a squeegee 1 on the screen mask 2 disposed in an array with the board 3, a paste feeding means, which forms the forced flow of the paste 4, is provided at the tip, which comes into contact with the screen mask, of the squeegee 1, so as to allow to treat the paste 4 as Newtonian fluid. As a result, the free controlling of the paste can be possible as similarly as ordinary fluid by detecting the characteristics (or parameters) of paste such as pressure, viscosity and the like, resulting in ideally controlling the transferring of paste through the apertures 2a of the screen mask 2 so as to allow to realize high printing accuracy.
