Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce an organic fertilizer free from malodor, composed of flowable fine particles having excellent handleability, containing a large amount of nutrient components necessary for the growth of plant in an easily absorbable state and containing extremely large amount of valuable microorganisms such as actinomycete useful for inhibiting the proliferation of microorganisms harmful for the growth of plant. CONSTITUTION:This organic fertilizer is produced by using a mixture of (A) 50-80wt.% of an organic material having an arabinoxylan content of >=20wt.% and (B) 50-20wt.% of at least one kind of adsorbing mineral material or charcoal or a raw material composed mainly of the mixture as a fermentation raw material, subjecting the material to primary fermentation in the presence of one or more kinds of microorganisms selected from Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus sojae, adjusting the pH of the primary fermentation product to 6.0-7.5 and carrying out the secondary fermentation preferably at pH6.0-9.0 in the presence of one or more kinds of arabinoxylan-assimilating actinomycete of the genus Streptomyces, bacterium of the genus Pseudomonas or bacterium of the genus Bacillus.
