Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (Q is condensed heterocyclic ring having N atom in the bridgehead which may have a substituent group; R1 and R2 are alkyl, alkoxy or halogen; Z is CH or N). EXAMPLE:N-(2-Chloroimidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-ylsulfonyl)-N'-(4,6-dimet hoxy-2- pyrimidinyl)urea. USE:A herbicide. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by the formula Q-SO2NH2 is reacted with a compound expressed by formula II [Y1 is halogen or -OY2 (Y2 is alkyl or phenyl)] in the presence of a base. The resultant reaction mixture is then reacted with a compound expressed by formula III together with an acid under anhydrous conditions.
