Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a composite finished yarn having a spun yarn-like touch. CONSTITUTION:Two undrawn yarns Y1 and Y2 are drawn and false-twisted using mutually adjacent spindles with mutually different thermal shrinkage and crimp, respectively, and subsequently blended with each other without directly wound up. When the false twisting numbers of the two undrawn yarns Y1 and Y2 are changed in a case, the spun yarn-like touch of the composite finished yarn can be changed into various touches by drawing one of the undrawn yarns in two steps to change the drawing rations of both the undrawn yarns from each other, by changing the temperatures of both the undrawn yarns just before the false twisting processes of the yarns, respectively or by changing the twisting directions (S twisting, Z twisting) of the undrawn yarns, or by combining these methods. The production method permits to freely control the thermal shrinkage difference of the composite yarn by blending the yarns having different shrinkage with each other in an arbitrary ratio and to give the spun yarn-like composite yarn free from the generation of fuzz and from the breakage of the yarn. When the composite yarns are blended with each other in the mutually different twisting directions, a non-torque yarn can be produced.
