PURPOSE: To accurately and speedily detect the general fire with high sensitivity beyond the limits of the specific combustibles while restraining the cost rise.
CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with an UV detection part 1, IR detecting part 2 which detects the IR amount by the CO2 resonance radiation, signal processing parts 3 and 4 converting the normal level under the environment of the UV and IR radiation source into the cancelled ON/OFF signal and the adjustment signal higher than the normal level, comparison judgement part 7 outputting an operation signal when the signal is outputted from an AND judgement part 5 which ANDs the ON/OFF signal to be outputted from the signal processing parts 3 and 4 and when the addition signal to be outputted from the signal addition part 6 which adds the adjustment signal to be outputted from the UV and IR signal processing parts 3 and 4 exceeds the prescribed level, and a timer part 8 which outputs a reporting signal through an output part when the operation signal from the part 7 continues for the constant time.
