PURPOSE: To facilitate working, save labor, eliminate troubles-me working and increase the amount of working and the like by a method a gasket is engaged with and fitted to a guiding pole of a boggie, piled up on a lifting plate and the boggie is arranged at a lower part of a fitting device.

CONSTITUTION: Before installing a boggie 86, a ring part 2 of a gasket and a corner part 97 are engaged with and fitted to large diameter guide poles 98, 99. A straight portion 4 and a branched portion cross part 100 are engaged with and fitted to fine diameter guide poles 101 and 102 and then they are piled up on the lifting plates 103 and 104. After this operation, the boggie 86 is moved through operation of casters 92, 93 and then the boggie 86 is stopped at a position where smooth transfer of the gasket to the gasket fitting and installing portion can be carried out. When the gasket fitting and installing portion move to receive the gasket at this position, the gasket in the gasket fitting and installing portion is replaced through the lift of the lifting plates 103 and 104 by the operation of a screw bolt device 106. The lift corresponds to one gasket. With such an arrangement as above, the replacement of the gasket can be carried out automatically.
