CONSTITUTION: A parallel arm 12 clamp structural body for cargo handling for a lift truck is furnished with a slide guide frame 14 having an upper part pair and a lower part pair of lateral slide guides 20, 22 slender, parallel and vertically separated from each other. Load arm support slide members 26, 28 are installed on the slide guides 20, 22 so that they are overlapped and vertically approach and separate from each other. Each of the slide members 26, 28 partially surrounds the slide guides, and the slide guides 20, 22 partially surround a piston cylinder assembly body so as to move the slide members 26, 28 relatively to the slide guides. The upper part pair and the lower part pair of the slide guides 20, 22 are separated from each other by a wide and not-disturbed central vertical space 68, and an operator can see the front through the space 68.
