A continuous process for preparation of polyoxymethylenehomo- or copolymers by bulk polymerisation in the presence of a cationic initiator and optionally regulators, with the monomers and polymerizate in melted form during polymerisation, and final optional deactivation of the polymerizate, followed by removal, cooling, and granulation of the melt is new.
