Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve adhesion between silicone and a textile fabric by carrying out a corona discharge treatment on the textile fabric and thereafter applying silicone rubber.
CONSTITUTION: After irradiating the textile fabric at frequency of about 1-500 KHz, voltage of about 3-50 KV and in an irradiation amount of 10-1000 μAh/m2, liq. silicone rubber is applied and cured to obtain the silicone coated textile fabric having improved adhesion between silicone and the textile fabric.
