Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure clean raw water at low cost by installing non-water- permeable, flexible thin membranes, extending downstream from a confluence where clean river water and non-clean river water meet, in a way that the membrane's upper edge comes to the surface of the water while its lower edge comes to the river bed. CONSTITUTION:A thin membrane fabric is made from a non-water-permeable, flexible thin membrane 5 with floats 4 and weights 6 fixed respectively to its upper side and its underside. The thin membrane fabric prepared in a vast, long structure is extended over a confluence where clean river water 2 and non-clean river water 3 meet so that the floats 4 may float on the surface of the water and the weights 6 may touch the river bed.
