Abstract:
In the process of obtaining a nickel concentrate from a nickel magnesium silicate ore by leaching the ore with hydrochloric acid to separate the gangue mainly consisting of silica and drying and roasting the leach, the drying and the roasting of the leach are effected separately, whereby a high grade of nickel concentrate can be obtained with 100% nickel recovery.
