Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a sudden fall of baggage carrier by a method wherein even when one of the lift cylinder pipe lanes is damaged regarding the elevator equipped with a pair of lift cylinders, the returning side of the other is pressed with a control valve. CONSTITUTION:As the lift cylinder 1, 2 begins to go down because of a load on the baggage carrier 5, the oil in the cylinder chamber 7 flows in a relay chamber 44 decreasingly pressed by the 2nd detecting orifice 37. The oil in the cylinder chamber 6 flows through the 1st detecting orifice 41 of a control valve C into a relay chamber 44, making a spool 31 move against a spring 36 by the difference of pressure generated before and after passing the orifice 41, making an opening area of the cntrol orifice 40 small, and making a go-down speed of the lift cylinder 1, 2 slow. When a pipe lane 8 is damaged, if the entire load on the baggage carrier 5 is held by lift cylinder 1, the difference of pressure before and after the detecting orifice 41 becomes further bigger; making the spool 31 move widely, making an opening area of the orifice 41, 40 further smaller for prevention of a sudden fall of the baggage carrier.
