Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile robot which can simplify its path planning in an autonomous run mode and also can simplify the robot-man cooperative remote operation in an actual run mode. SOLUTION: This mobile robot is provided with a sensor means 1 which detects its own position information, a sensor processing means 5 that acquires the detection information from the means 1 at a prescribed interval to obtain its own position information, a means 4 which generates the reference information on the path to be traced based on the prescribed path information, and a means 14 that generates the control value based on the reference information generated by the means 4 and the information obtained by the means 5. Thus, the robot is driven in response to the control value generated by the means 14 and can move. In addition, a setting unit 7 sets a desired speed of the robot. Then the means 1 changes the processing time in response to the speed set by the unit 7.
