Abstract:
PURPOSE:To smoothly attain the steady control of a molten steel level without causing any overflow by controlling the rising speed of the molten steel level to an optimum state in a mold part. CONSTITUTION:A decision switching means 22 decides the variable or stable period of the molten steel level based on the molten steel level in a mold part. In a variable period, the mode is switched to the auto-start side and an ON/OFF control signal of a desired ON/OFF time ratio is outputted from an ON/OFF control means 23. Thus the ON/OFF control is applied to the opening degree of a stopper and therefore the rising speed of the molten steel level is suppressed with the total OFF time. Thereafter the steady control is attained when the means 22 decides that the molten steel level reaches the prescribed value and is stabilized.
