Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quicken battery replacement by simply rotating a mounting screw either by fingers or by a coin, by a method wherein the head of the screw being provided with a projection which can be rotated by fingers while being provided with a recess which can be rotated by a coin and is arranged at right angle with respect to the projection. CONSTITUTION:A thumbscrew 11 is formed as a tapered projection which can easily be rotated by finger tips, and a groove 12 provided at the center thereof can be inserted by a coin. After replacing a battery, a cover 3a of a device body is returned to the device body 3b, and either the thumbscrew 11 is rotated by the fingers or the groove 12 is rotated by the coin to engage a screw 9 with a nut 10.
