Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a multicolor image forming device provided with such structure that an image characteristic can be prevented from being deteriorated by preventing a hand from being touched to an intermediate transfer body at the time of eliminating jamming in the case that the transfer position of the intermediate transfer body and a transfer paper is set at the lower part of the intermediate transfer body. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 22 which rotatably supports a resist roller 21A, which is one of resist rollers 21 constituted of a pair of rollers positioned on the upstream side of the carrying direction of the transfer paper with respect to a transfer part and which is placed on a side faced to the upper surface of the transfer paper, and which can be fluctuated in a direction that it can be attached and detached with respect to the other roller 21B of the resist rollers and the protection means 23 of the intermediate transfer body 10A which is positioned on the surface of the side of the transfer body 10A faced to the guide member 22 by providing a slight gap between the surface of the transfer body 10A and which covers the surface of the transfer body 10A are provided.
