Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a machine to easily understand a long sentence by automatically converting the long sentence to an expression easy to understand by division and rearrangement at the time of handling the long sentence having a specific pattern. CONSTITUTION:A division processing part 15 divides an original sentence into plural parts in positions determined in accordance with a keyword and retrieves the continuous use interruption mood of a declinable word or a postpositional word (functioning as an auxiliary to a main word) indicating parataxis of nouns to divide described items. A morpheme analysis processing part 16 subjects each divided sentence to morpheme analysis in accordance with a Japanese- language dictionary 21, and a sentence end adjustment processing part 17 corrects the sentence end expression to a termination mood in accordance with results of morphere analysis. A rearrangement processing part 18 rearranges these division results in positions preliminarily determined in relation to the keyword and supplements characters and sentences required to the context. Thus, the long sentence in a natural language is automatically converted to the expression easy for the machine as well as a person to understand.
