Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a supervisor, and to improve a reliability by storing information for showing a connecting constitution between plural communication equipments in the network management device, and displaying the connect-constitution on a screen in accordance with a selecting instruction from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A first display function derives a connecting constitution between two or more communication equipments A-C, based on the storage contents of a storage means, and displays the derived connecting constitution on a screen 100 on which a graphic is displayed. Subsequently, when a network supervisor selects and instructs another communication equipment, a second display function displays the connecting constitution between these two communication equipments A, B on a screen 2000 on which a graphic is displayed. In such a way, the network supervisor can know only the connecting constitution between two communication equipments. A third display function varies a display state of the communication equipment, for instance, by varying a display color or blinking it, with respect to a mentioned part of the communication equipment subjected to selecting instruction. In such a way, the network supervisor can discriminate the communication equipment subjected to selecting instruction.
