PURPOSE: To carry out the manual door opening/closing operation for a slide door for vehicle, the automatic door opening/closing operation using an electric motor.
CONSTITUTION: Each one end of a pair of arms 2 and 2 is pivotally installed on a base 1 fixed on a car body side, and the other end is pivotally installed on a holder 6 which is slidable on a slide rail 3 fixed on a door side. The arm 2 is connected with a motor 12 through a lever 15, screw-nut mechanism 9 and 14, and a worm wheel and a worm, and a contact member 22 for the reciprocating movement of the rail 3 is revolved by the worm wheel, worm, and a motor 18. An auxiliary rail 33 is arranged in parallel to the slide rail 3, and an auxiliary holder 34 which extends from the holder 6 is engaged with the auxiliary rail 33.
