Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain fluorene in high recovery rate from a fluorene-contg. oil through a simple process.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorene-contg. oil obtained from coal tar or from the residual oil as a by-product from a benzene production process by dealkylation is distilled to obtain a fluorene fraction ≥40wt.% in fluorene content, which is then pressed to conduct the separation and recovery of the aimed fluorene.
