PURPOSE: To cast a stable quality product, particularly in the case of changing the casting cycle, in the casting using a metallic mold by pouring molten metal from a molten metal pouring pot.

CONSTITUTION: In the casting using the metallic mold by pouring the molten metal from the molten metal pouring pot, bad effect of the temp. lowering in the molten metal caused by cooling of the molten metal pouring pot because the casting cycle time exceeds the setting time, is prevented by raising the temp. of the metallic mold in advance. Then, in the initial period where the temp. of the molten metal pouring pot lowers in proportion to passing time, the temp. of the metallic mold is raised in proportion to the passing time to compensate this lowering. At the time of becoming slow cooling to the molten metal pouring pot, the temp. of the metallic mold is made to reach to the set max. temp. and thereafter, this setting max. temp. is kept.
