Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily prepare a rotor with high reliability in dimensional accuracy and strength further with the excellent rotary balance, by filling the powdery or melting metal having a magnetic characteristic to be pressurized in a mold by which each part of the captioned rotor can be integrally molded. CONSTITUTION:To mold an electromagnetic clutch rotor, the metal in powdery or melting state having a magnetic characteristic is filled to be pressurized in a mold by which a power transmitting part and a frictional face part of the rotor and a part of the rotor forcibly brought in contact with a bearing can be integrally molded. For this reason, the receiving mold 6 is built up with a split mold 61 equipped with parts 611 for molding a V-grooved part of the rotor, base part 62 equipped with a flange part 621 of U-shaped section for perforating a nearly annular air gap 9 in the frictional face part of the rotor and an annular flange part 623 for forming the internal periphery of the power transmitting part of the rotor, and a cylindrical body 63 molding an internal cylinder forcibly brought in contact with the bearing. A pressing mold 7 is fitted into said receiving mold 6 while the mold 7 is being pressed.
