Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily remove a roller on a contact type sensor, by permitting the roller to pivot on a fulcrum to leave from the sensor in facsimile equipment which uses the contact sensor.
CONSTITUTION: Two rollers 2 for feeding an original are provided before and behind a contact type sensor 1, and a metallic fixture 5 is fitted to the supporting shaft of the roller 3 on either roller 2 through a bearing 4; and an original pressing roller 6 for pressing an original 9 onto the contact sensor 1 is fitted to the metallic fixture 5 through a bearing 7, and the metallic fixture 5 is rotated around the supporting shaft to allow the pressing roller 6 to leave the sensor, thereby cleaning the sensor 1 and roller 6 extremely with ease.
