Title:
INK JET RECORDING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5812764
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the quality of printing by a method in which the amounts of inks of primary color and mixed color to be adhered on a recording paper are equalized in such a way that the amount of ink of primary color is reduced for the colors to be formed by mixing inks of primary colors.

CONSTITUTION: Two systems of nozzle rows represented by YI, VII, CI, CII, MI, and MII for the colors of yellow, cyanine, and Magenda are provided. These nozzle rows of different diameters are selectively driven by a control circuit T. At the time of primary color printing, a printing head is driven a drive circuit D1 and the nozzle rows YI, CI, and MI are used, and also at the time of mixed color printing, the printing head is driven by a drive circuit D2 and the nozzle rows YII, CII, and MII are used. Thus, even when recording is made both by inks of primary color and mixed color, printing can be performed by the same amounts of inks.
