PURPOSE: To loosen enough clothes in a drum before drying is finished so that the clothes can be taken out smoothly from the drum by deciding the quantity of the clothes when the clothes reach a prescribed drying rate, and changing the speed of revolution of the drum so that the clothes scraped up by a baffle drop down from the uppermost part.
CONSTITUTION: When a start key is depressed, a control part 55 clears an operation time in a timer in a timer part 53, allows the timer to start to count the operation time after turning on a heater 29, and also, sets a target speed of revolution of a motor 31, and starts the motor 31. When it is decided that a drying rate reaches, for instance, 96% based on an input from a first and a second thermosensible elements 39, 40, the control part 55 decides the quantity of clothes from the operation time counted by the timer, decides that the shorter operation time means the smaller quantity of clothes, and decreases the subsequent speed of revolution of the motor 31. In such a way, after loosening enough intertwinement of clothes, the drying operation can be finished.
