PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing a methacrylic resin, a water-absorbing resin having an urethane bond and a sodium sulfonate group- containing compound in a specific ratio and excellent in heat stability and antistatic property and useful for melt molding.
CONSTITUTION: This composition is composed of (A) 100 pts.wt. of a methacrylic resin and 0.2-10 pts.wt. of total amount of (B) a water-absorbing resin having an urethane bond (preferably having an absorbing capacity of 10-100g water/g resin and (C) a compound having sodium sulfonate group (preferably at least one kind of a sodium alkylsulfonate, a sodium alkylarylsulfonate, sodium succinate sulfonate and sodium acetate sulfonate), and the weight ratio of these components B/C is (10/90) to (90/10).
