Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a stable protocol for multiple access from plural auxiliary terminals to an electronic communication channel by a digitized information message. CONSTITUTION: Plural auxiliary terminals TAi supply a reservation message MR to a central terminal TC. This central terminal transmits an allocation message MA with a transmission capacity converted into the number of data packets of an information message MI of the auxiliary terminal TAi to an auxiliary terminal TAi+(q), and supplies it to the proper terminal TAi among them. The reservation message MR is constituted of information related with the number NP of data packets forming the information message MI of the terminal TAi which is generated and stored between an accepted final allocation message MA(p-n) and the (p)th present reservation message, and which is not transmitted to the terminal TAi+(q). Thus, stability can be applied to a network to be improved. This multiple access is applied to the communication channel of a communication satellite.
