PURPOSE: To improve the windproofing and the like by covering the surface recessed step part of a laterally adjoining wavy roof tile with the recessed part on the back of a wavy roof tile, so as to laterally flush the surface of roof tiles.

CONSTITUTION: A reverse water obstructing projection 2 having nail holes 3 is provided on the upper part of a standard wavy roof tile A, a recessed groove 6 surrounded with the projection 2, a water flow obstructing projection 5, and a surface 1, is formed on the surface recessed step part 4 on one side, and rain water is let flow downward. Next a back recessed groove 11 is formed on the opposite side of the step part 4 so as to cover the step part 4 of the adjoining tile A, and the surfaces are flushed. Next a slope 13 is formed on the lower end of the surface 1 for reducing resistance against a wind. Further an adjusting roof tile in which the lateral length of the groove 11 of the tile A is lengthened for adjusting the face of a lateral size, and the lateral size of the surface is set about one half or the same length of the surface 1 of the tile A. In the case of zigzag roofing, the half length adjusting tile is used on the end part, and the same length tile is cut up and down at the desired part so as to correspond to the lateral size of a roof. Hereby, weather proofing and appearance are improved and the size can be easily adjusted.
