PURPOSE: To provide a bathtub which is easily cleaned and in which a bathing person can obtain a hold when he steps into/out from the bathtub as well, regardless of his height or his bathing posture.

CONSTITUTION: A step part 13 is recessed-provided around the upper edges of inner surface of side walls 12 opposed to each other, a round pipe 2 which can be grip-held along the side walls 12 is arranged in a knocked part 13, a water-supplying pipe 3 is connected to the end part of the round pipe 2, and sprinkling holes 22 are successively-provided on the inside wall opposed to the round pipe 2, in a bathtub 1 in which flange edge 11 is spread-arranged on the whole circumference of the opening part.
