Title:
PIEZOELECTRICALLY VIBRATING GYRO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0755475
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a piezoelectrically vibrating gyro whose mass productivity is high.

CONSTITUTION: Two sets of opposite driving electrodes 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b and two sets of detection electrodes 13a, 13b, 14a, 14b are arranged on two opposite side faces of a quadrangular-pillar piezoelectric ceramic 10, and bending vibrations are caused by the driving electrodes 11a to 12b. Coriolis' force by the angular velocity is detected and output as voltages of opposite phases by the two sets of detection electrodes 13a to 14b. Since the electrodes are formed only on two faces, side faces can be worked, and the adjustment or the like of the resonant frequency can be performed easily.
