PURPOSE: To facilitate the removal of a broken vane shaft by providing an opening section into which the vane shaft of a rotary actuator is inserted in a body hole section at one end of a connecting body and a through hole whose diameter is smaller than the opening section with the bottom of the body hole penetrated at the other end.
CONSTITUTION: A connecting body 3 into which the vane shaft 2 of a rotary actuator 1 is inserted is of structure comprising an inertia plate 11 connected to a cylindrical body 10, for example and has an opening section into which the vane shaft 2 is inserted in a body hole 5 and is engaged with one end of the body through the key of a key way 12. There is a through hole 7 whose diameter is smaller than that of an opening section 4 at the other end, penetrating the the bottom 6 of the body hole 5. When the vane shaft 2 is broken, the vane shaft 2 can be easily removed by inserting a pin into the through hole 7, striking it with a hammer, and making high pressured air blow into the through hole 7.
