Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a bad influence from exerting on rotor material strength by effectively cooling a rotor positioned in a space.
CONSTITUTION: In a steam turbine wherein a space is provided between a steam chamber, into which steam is introduced, and a rotor, and this space is connected to the outlet side of a speed governing step moving blade through a through-hole, and a steam bleeding hole is formed to bleed steam from this space, the head 21 of the key 13 of a body casing 1 is formed into a smooth and round conical shape, and a steam bleeding hole 23 communicated with the space and steam passages 24 and 25 are formed along the surface of this key 13.
