Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve operability and facility of a treatment device having a root canal length measuring function.

CONSTITUTION: A hand piece 11 is made cordless, and a cutting tool driving motor, a root canal length measuring circuit 18 and an electric power supply battery are mounted, and a tool holding mechanism of a head 14 is electrically continued with the root canal length measuring circuit 18 through a conductive member inside of the head, and a battery charger 1 having a charging circuit to charge the electric power supply battery is provided. Thereby, a lead wire to connect a stationary control device to the hand piece 11 becomes unnecessary, and since there is no need to wire the lead wire outside with every treatment, operability of the hand piece 11 is remarkably improved.
