Abstract:
PURPOSE:To recover the possible running distance of an electric automobile by connecting charging terminals to the electric automobile and the charging terminals, which are provided in the electric automobile, when the electric automobile has parked at a specified parking section, and performing charging in accordance with the information of a specified sensor. CONSTITUTION:Two positive and negative charging terminals 12 and 13, which are connected to a charging battery 11, are arranged in an angle pattern at the approximately central part of a specified parking section. The two charging terminals of an electric automobile corresponding to the arrangement of the above described terminal are extending downward from the bottom surface of the automobile. The two terminals can be also arranged in the back-to-back pattern and orthogonally provided with respect to the parking lot uprightly. When the electric automobile has parked at the parking section of the parking lot, a control part 15 controls a relay 14 based on the detected result of a vehicle detecting means 16 and applies a voltage across the charging terminals 12 and 13 from the charging battery 11. Thus, the charging is automatically performed only when the automobile has parked at the specified parking lot. Replacement of storage batteries requiring special handling caution and cumbersome cable connecting work can be omitted.
