Abstract:
PURPOSE:To input a control information such as a control code and changeover a mode without especially providing a menu area by deciding a signal obtained by comparing a pattern drawn on a coordinate input device with an inputted pattern, and outputting a decided result. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate constituting a character (pattern) drawn on a coordinate input device 101 is outputted in time series to a signal line 111, and a result recognized in a character recognition device 102 is added to a deciding section 106. The coordinate of one picture drawing line is stored in one picture memory section 103 and the previously stored coordinate of the picture drawing line is applied to one picture memory section 104. The contents of the first and the second pictures stored in both the memory sections 103, 104 are compared one point by one point by a comparison section 105 and the compared result is added to the section 106. Based on the comparing result of the comparison section 105, the character is decided by the section 106 and without especially providing a menu area, a control information such as a changeover of a mode or a control code is inputted.
