Title:
PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN PRINTING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0667426
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve adhesion property between a photosensitive resin and a substrate by incorporating a specified copolymer polyester, polyfunctional isocyanate, and a compd. having hydroxyl groups and acryloil or methacryloil groups into the adhesive layer.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive resin layer for water-developable flexographic printing is formed on an adhesive layer on a substrate. The adhesive layer contains a mixture of 90-50wt.% copolymer polyester having ≤10°C glass transition temp. and 10-50wt.% copolymer polyester having ≥50°C glass transition temp. Further, the adhesive layer contains polyfunctional isocyanate and a compd. having hydroxyl groups and acryloil or methacryloil groups. Thereby, adhesion strength of the adhesive layer to the photosensitive resin layer for water-developable flexographic printing can be maintained even when the adhesive layer formed on the substrate is left for a long tide. Further, the photosensitive resin layer does not peel from the substrate when the layer is developed.
