Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet synchronous motor to improve demagnetization proof strength of a rotor magnet by adopting a centralized winding system. SOLUTION: In a permanent magnet synchronous motor having a a centralized winding type stator, a space between teeth 4 and 4 of a stator 1 is defined as La, an air gap 8 between the stator 1 and a rotor 2 is defined as Lg. By setting the space La to La 2.0 Lg and setting the space between the end of the teeth 4 to less than 2.0 times Lg of the air gap 8, a magnetic flux of demagnetization is restrained from flowing toward the the rotor 2, making it difficult for the magnetic field of demagnetization to act on a permanent magnet 6 in order to improve demagnetization proof strength of the permanent magnet 6 even in the case the magnetic pole of a coil and the rotor 2 are made to oppose.
