PURPOSE: To distinctly inform of the happening of an abnormality, concerning a lighting controller for automobile which displays the emergent stop due to the abnormality to the periphery, when an automatic brake operates on a vehicle equipped with an automatic brake controller.
CONSTITUTION: A vehicle 3 is equipped with an automatic brake controller and detects the driving asleep, fit, etc., on the basis of the variation of the pulsation of a driver, or when the driver one's self operates a body abnormality switch, stop of the vehicle is carried out independently in spite of the existence of the brake operation. When the automatic brake operates, or the vehicle 3 stops because of the operation of the automatic brake 3, at least two among a stop lamp 4, hazard lamp 5, head lamp 6, and a fog lamp 7 as the lighting device of the vehicle 3 are flashed. Since in the ordinary drive, at least two lighting devices are not flashed continuously, the periphery is given with the strong impression, and a rear-end collision can be prevented, and the speedy rescue can be expected.
