Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the reset of a signal output line connected to a main electrode by constituting an emitter follower circuit by connecting electrically the control electrode of a Darlington type transistor(TR) to the signal output side of a photoelectric conversion element, and connecting electrically load resistance to the main electrode of one side of the Darlington type TR. CONSTITUTION:The base region of the Darlington type bipolar TR 11 is connected to storage capacity 3. The load resistance 2 forms the emitter follower together with the Darlington type bipolar TR 11 when an MOS TR 7 is turned into an ON state. After the signal is stored in the storage capacity 3, the signal is outputted to a horizontal output line 6 connected to the main electrode of one side the Darlington type TR 11 by emitter follower action through the MOS TR turned into the ON state by output from a horizontal shift register HSR. Thus, the reset of the signal output line 6 is eliminated.
