Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a pile fabric having a pile surface classified by color due to the presence or absence of a sprinkly colored pattern. CONSTITUTION:This pile fabric is obtained by forming loops 15 or cut piles 16 and 17 having an equal height from the base 14 to the tip 21 or 22 of each yarn 11 or 12 and cut piles 18, 19 and 20 having a height to the tip 21 or 22 different from that of the cut pile 16 or 17 using pile yarn 13 prepared by twisting at least two yarns 11 and 12 so as to provide 1:(0.2-5) substantial thickness ratio and regulating the difference in the total length from the base 14 of pile pieces (11A) and (12a) to the tips (21A) and (22a) of at least two yarns constituting the piles 18, 19 and 20 having the different heights of the yarns 11 and 12 to the tips 21 and 22 to 0-10% based on the total length from the base 14 to the tip of the pile piece (11A) or (12a) of either of the yarns. Furthermore, the total length of the pile pieces (11A) and (12a) of the yarns is substantially equal.
