Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the cleavage of an oxygen barrier layer, which is caused by the shock of dropping, by positioning a gas barrier layer provided in a wall part constituting a trunk section on the side near the outer circumferential surface of a container from the center line of a wall thickness and also positioning the gas barrier layer provided in a wall part constituting a bottom section on the side near the inner circumferential surface of the container from the center line of the wall thickness. CONSTITUTION:The portion 5a of an oxygen barrier layer 5 on the side of a wall part 2 constituting a trunk section is provided at the position near the side of the outer circumferential surface 1a of a plastic bottle container 1 from the center line 2c of a wall thickness of the wall part 2 constituting the trunk section. Furthermore, the portion 5b of the oxygen barrier layer 5 on the side of a wall part 3 constituting a bottom section is provided at the position near the side of the inner circumferential surface 1b of the container 1 from the center line 3c of a wall thickness of the wall part 3 constituting the bottom section. By this method, time which drinking water in the plastic bottle container 1 requires to reach the oxygen barrier layer 5a becomes longer, and an oxygen barrier performance is enhanced. Moreover, even when the container 1 is dropped bottom-side down, the cleavage of the oxygen barrier layer 5b is hardly caused, and the strength against the dropping can be improved.
