EXAMPLE: 7-[2-( 2-Aminothiazol-4-yl )-2-benzhydriloxycarbonylmethoxyiminoacetamide]-3-vinyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic benzhydril ester.
USE: Antibacterial, especially for oral administration.
PREPARATION: The reaction between a compound of formula II, its derivative with an activated amino group or their salt, and a compound of formula III, its derivative with an activated carboxylic group or their salt, is carried out in the presence of an organic or inorganic base in a solvent such as acetone, preferably using a condensation reaction reagent such as Vilsmeier reagent to give the compound of formulaIor its salt.
