PURPOSE: To facilitate the judgement of a commanding person to cope with the immediate action by obtaining the positional coordinates of the diagram for the arrangement proposal, and displaying the data at the position as scroll when the arrangement plan of the train operation is prepared.

CONSTITUTION: A train operation control system monitors and detects the operation plan and the experiences of the train, and stores them in the diagram database 2. This system consists of the problem solving knowledge base to predict the operation status in the future and has the knowledge of a skilled commanding person, an arrangement plan preparing part to eliminate the disturbance of the operation, an arrangement plan storage part 6, a display information storage part 7, and a display information control part 8 which executes the automatic scroll to the position of the diagram corresponding to the arrangement plan of the storage part 6 and outputs the data to a display device 9 when the display of the arrangement plan is requested in the input from an input device 10. The display information control part 8 consists of an arrangement plan preparation monitoring part 81 to display the arrangement plan stored in the storage part 9, an input monitoring part 82 to instruct the reading of the arrangement plan if the display is requested by the input device 10, a display position determining part 83, a diagram data editing part 84 and a screen display data editing part 85.
