Abstract:
What is described is an air-jet weaving machine having a weaving reed (1) and a weft insertion channel (2) arranged in the weaving reed, a temple table (7) being arranged in front of the weaving reed (1).
The basic object here is to process very fine yarns with a high weft density in an operationally reliable manner, whilst at the same time preserving an excellent product quality.
For this, in the region of the front fabric deflection there is integrated in the temple table (7) a spreading element (20) which grasps at least the edge region of the material web.
In a further embodiment, a spreading element (21) is arranged not only at the front entrance of the temple table (7) but also at its rear exit.
