PURPOSE: To provide a rolling bearing which simultaneously has heat resistance and conductivity in vacuum atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: Inner and outer rings 1 and 2 are formed of an SUS440C material on which heat resisting treatment is applied and a holder 4 is formed of an SUS440C material. Half of a plurality of balls 3 are a load ball 31 on which a bearing load is applied and remaining half of the balls are a non-load ball 32 which has diameter slightly smaller than that of the load ball 31 and on which no bearing load is applied, the load balls 31 and the non-load balls 32 being alternately arranged. The load ball 31 is formed of a ceramic material and the non-load ball 32 is formed such that a silver film 32b is formed on the surface of a metallic ball 32a formed of the SUS440C material.
