PURPOSE: To provide a device of a heavy load, high accuracy and long life by piercing a hole punch inside a forming punch and by enabling the cooperative/relative moving of both punches through the height selection of the abutting part of a striking plate above these punches.

CONSTITUTION: A punching is performed on a material to be worked through a process in which first a striking plate 21 is at a continuous line position, a press ram is abutted on a abutting part 22, and a hole punch 9 is activated through a punch head 10. Next, the striking plate 21 is moved to a dotted line position, and the press ram is abutted on a abutting part 23. The bottom face of the striking plate 21 is abutted on the punch head 10 and a forming punch head 11, to activate the both and form a recessed part in a dish shape. In this case, the lower end part of the hole punch 9 is located inside the lower end part of a forming punch 8, reinforcing the knife-edge shaped lower end part of the forming punch 8 as a core bar. Then, the striking plate 21 is returned to the continuous line position, punching an excess part due to a plastic flow inside the punched hole by the activation of the hole punch, and a shaping operation is performed.
