PURPOSE: To effectively explode or damage a mine by sensing the mine buried under ground by a sensor from above the ground, applying a vertical exciting force from the ground surface immediately above the mine, and repeatedly operating a downward pressing force to a fuse of the mine to operate the fuse.

CONSTITUTION: When a mine treating apparatus travels on a mine source in which a mine is buried under ground, a sensor senses magnetism of the mine 32 under ground, it is so disposed that a roller 18 is disposed directly above the mine 32 and stopped. A first exciter 14 is operated in this state to vertically excite the roller 18, and an outer periphery of the roller 18 is brought into close contact with the ground surface 30. Further, when the exciter 14 is operated, a fuse 34 of the mine 32 is repeatedly pressed down to be switched to an operating position. Thus, the fuse 34 initiates the mine 32 thereby to effectively explode or damage the mine.
