Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of the captioned device, by directly connecting the first and second members by means of a centrifugal clutch before the internal pressure in a sealing chamber, in which viscous fluid is enclosed, rises because of differential rotation, thereby lowering the pressure acting on the sealing member placed between the said two members. CONSTITUTION:Between an input side member 3 as the first member and an output member 25 as the second member, the viscous fluid is enclosed and at the same time a sealing chamber, in which resistance plates 45 that are fixed to the said members 3 and 25 are placed near to each other, is formed. Also between the said members 3 and 25, a centrifugal clutch 49, which connects the members 3 and 25 before the pressure in the sealed chamber 27 due to differential rotation rises, is provided. Accordingly, the pressure, which acts on the sealing members 41 and 43 that seal up the sealing chamber 27, in lowered, thereby enhancing the durability of the sealing members 41 and 43.
